Eat it on the fly or with the flies, you pick. Walking Tacos are easy peasy to make, eat, and clean up after. It’s a family-friendly camping recipe since everyone gets to choose how much and what toppings to use.

Here are some prerequisites for making and eating these delicious pouches of taco heaven: 

You’re camping or just super cool lazy like us.
You like easy foods.
Maybe you have kids.
You like tacos (duh).
You can handle Fritos or Doritos in your food.
You have some or all of the other ingredients you need.

Ingredients like:

  • ground beef or turkey
  • diced onion
  • taco seasoning 
  • snack sized bags of Fritos or Doritos
  • black beans
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • ranch and salsa
